Matlock's Used Auto Parts - Return Policy
Parts may be subject to a restocking fee if the part is returned at no fault of Matlock’s Used Cars and Parts, Inc. Returns must be made within 60 days. Parts must be in the same condition as originally sold—not painted or altered in any way.
Failure to pick up parts within 30 days of notification that the part is ready may result in restocking fees, especially for custom or high-demand items.
Restock Fees
Restocking fees are calculated as follows:
Delivery Charges:

Delivery fee to bring the part out

Delivery fee to retrieve the part
Part Type Fee:

Small parts: Minimum $35, up to 25% of part cost

Sheet metal: Minimum $50, up to 25% of part cost

Drivetrain (engines/transmissions): Minimum $80, up to 25% of part cost

Boxes: Minimum $200, up to 50% of part cost

Front ends: Minimum $200, up to 50% of part cost

Cuts: Must be pre-approved for return
We aim to stay as close to the minimum as possible, but labor, tools, and gas have become increasingly expensive and are factored into our return process.
If you are ordering another part at the time of return, we may be able to minimize or waive the restocking fee. Just let us know, and we’ll do our best to help.
